We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse, on a 12month fixed contract.  To work in our expanding Inpatient Diabetes Service at Southend Hospital.

The team offers a full range of adult diabetes services and work closely with other specialists often in joint clinics in providing MDT care for young adults, pregnancy including gestational diabetes, diabetic foot disease, insulin pump, renal disease and elderly care.

Training will be given to allow the successful candidate to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This role will be based in the hospital Diabetes Centre however there may be opportunities to work in the community service if required in the future.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
