This is an exciting time to join us. The three NHS trusts that currently run Broomfield, Southend and Basildon hospitals are planning to become a new single NHS organisation by mid-2019.
All three hospitals will continue to provide the services our patients use the most. These include outpatient appointments, children’s services and day-case surgery. All three hospitals will continue to provide 24/7 A&E and maternity services.
By working as one team we will provide the same high standard of care and services for all of our 1.2m local residents. Using the same equipment, processes and IT systems means services will run more smoothly. Single leadership, standards and new structures will speed up decision making. Combined corporate services will reduce duplication and cut running costs. This means more money for front-line services and faster improvements.

We are looking for a physiotherapist to join our contingent workforce (Bank) who is ready to develop their clinical practice and managerial skills within an innovative, friendly and dedicated team.
If you have an interest in any of the following areas: Orthopaedics /MSK / Neurology/ elderly rehabilitation this is an opportunity to develop your knowledge base and to gain experience towards your preferred career pathway
• Assess, treat and manage a broad range of conditions with adults aged 16+
• Run 2 community-based exercise groups , with plans for a 3rd group in 2017, and a small neuro outpatient clinic
• Work in partnership with our councils and other health teams e.g falls, intermediate care, re-ablement to promote health and well-being and independent living
There are opportunities to build your CPD and to develop areas of special interest, as we offer clinical supervision, professional support and access to relevant courses.
