We are looking for a qualifed nurse to join our pre assessment team. Full training will be given for a period up to six weeks and competencies to be acheived. We will offer you a consultation and assessment course and any other relevant training required for example phlebotomy to help you develop to your full potential. We work Monday to Friday with very occassional weekends.
The post holder is responsible for pre-operative nursing and medical assessment of patients being prepared for a variety of surgical procedures. They will provide a comprehensive nursing and medical assessment, ensuring that all necessary investigations and results are collated prior to the patient’s admission. We work closely with the Anaesthetist/ Surgeons. We act as the co-ordinator of care until the patient is admitted for surgery.
We as a team provide quality of care, maintain staff morale, and contribute towards a condusive learning environment.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
