We have vacancies for Band 5 Staff Nurses on Southbourne Ward which is a fast-paced, Urology Oncology ward with 30 beds caring for patients’ under-going a range of planned and emergency surgery and ward based clinics for on-going reviews and follow- up drug therapy following bladder surgery.

Southend University Hospital is the south Essex surgical Centre for uro-oncology and gynae-oncology surgery and is considered to be a Centre of excellence for the care and treatment of stroke patients. Also offered are breast screening, ophthalmology and orthodontic services to the wider south Essex population.
