Southend University Hospital Windsor Ward is looking for a Registered Nurse.
Our Windsor Ward is a medical ward for the over 65’s. We provide care for patients with complex medical and social issues. We work closely with the patients and their families to give high standards of care, working with many specialities to enable a seamless journey for the patient from admission to discharge.
The ward team comprises of 2 consultants who are dementia specialists, 4 ward doctors, a matron, Ward Manager, trained nurses, health care assistants, physiotherapist, physio assistant, ADLA, Discharge Coordinator, social workers, domestics and caterers.
The Area: As a place to live, work and enjoy life, Southend has a lot to offer. The border touches sea, city and countryside with some of England’s prettiest villages and liveliest towns. It is also just under an hour from London making it an ideal base to explore the capital city.
