This is an exciting time to join us. The three NHS trusts that currently run Broomfield, Southend and Basildon hospitals are planning to become a new single NHS organisation by mid-2019.

 All three hospitals will continue to provide the services our patients use the most. These include outpatient appointments, children’s services and day-case surgery.  All three hospitals will continue to provide 24/7 A&E and maternity services.

By working as one team we will provide the same high standard of care and services for all of our 1.2m local residents. Using the same equipment, processes and IT systems means services will run more smoothly.  Single leadership, standards and new structures will speed up decision making.  Combined corporate services will reduce duplication and cut running costs. This means more money for front-line services and faster improvements.

Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust, and Basildon & Thurrock NHS Foundation Trust (the Group) have been working together on how to deliver a sustainable health economy in mid and south Essex.  The group of hospitals have embarked on a significant transformation programme to drive change to secure improved outcomes for the communities served by the Trusts and the sustainability of the health and care economy across mid and south Essex.

Corporate Services are a key partner in the transformation programme, and following diagnostic work in the spring and early summer, the three trusts have embarked on a programme of work, with an aim to create high quality and sustainable Corporate Services across the Group of hospitals.

We are recruiting for Business Analyst to support the development and implementation of standard change methodologies to be adopted across the group and working alongside other team members to ensure that the right training and support is in place in order to allow for these methodologies to be effectively deployed.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience working in a change function within a highly complex and regulated service environment.
