Are you an experienced registered nurse with leadership skills and A&E experience?

Do you want to develop and hone in on your skills and motivate others to do the same?

Southend university Hospital is passionate about care and are looking for a Deputy sister/Charge nurse to work within our A&E department to lead, co-ordinate and motivate a dedicated team of nursing and support staff to ensure the delivery of quality care.

The Department:

Our Emergency department provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with emergency conditions, serious injuries or illnesses as well as minor injuries. It is a very busy and demanding department which sees an average of 300 patients a day. The department has a discharge target which aims to; see, treat and discharge 95% of patients in 4 hours.

This is a permanent full time post of 37.5 hours per week.
