The team at Southend University Hospital are currently looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their Acute Inpatient rotation.  The post will commence on the Acute medical wards and will have a responsibility to the Cardiac Rehabilitation service.

We are a supportive therapy team looking to recruit a physiotherapist with a broad range of experience in core rotations, to join our team. The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing the out patient cardiac rehabilitation service.

This is a permanent band 6 physiotherapist position and the successful candidate will be supported by the team to develop the skills required to confidently provide the out patient classes and take an active part in the pre-assessment of patients prior to commencing classes

The role offer opportunities to develop clinically and managerially within a friendly and supportive environment. Training and clinical development opportunities are available, with support to attend recognised courses within the area of your rotation to support your development in addition to providing comprehensive in-service training and regular clinical supervision. We will also support the development of your skills in appraisal management and leadership skills with relevant courses.

Our Band 7 Team Leaders are highly experienced in their fields, providing support and training opportunities for personal development.

The role includes the supervision of students from University of Essex and University of Hertfordshire and the mentoring of Band 5 Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
