The Medicine Directorate at Southend University Hospital are recruiting a Locum Appointment for Service post at foundation Year 2 level.
We are looking to appoint to the following placement:-
Post 1: Geriatric Medicine from as soon as possible until the 31st July 2018.
The Medicine Directorate offers a personalised supportive induction programme for all newly appointed candidates, Through our induction programme, we ensure that all new team members feel integrated and supported. We include regular reviews and opportunities to flex the induction programme as required.
Although these posts are not recognised for training, we offer support in developing an offline Learning Portfolio and regular educational appraisal with a Consultant Educator.
Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a Teaching Hospital, linked to the London University and is also the Cancer Centre for South Essex which is part of the Essex Cancer network. This busy DGH serves a population of 338,800. We currently employ 4,567 wte staff with a total complement of 190 Consultant staff. Situated in the South East of England, with excellent rail links to London.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
