Applicants are invited to apply for the positions of Clinical Corneal Fellow in the Ophthalmology Department at Southend University NHS Foundation Trust.

This post is required to commence as soon as possible for a period of 1 year. Applicants should be fully trained in general ophthalmology and have a postgraduate ophthalmic qualification (FRCOphth or equivalent).

The successful candidate will join the South Essex Service provided from Southend and Orsett Hospital. The service is responsible for providing a comprehensive

range of services to a population of approximately 640,000. The Ophthalmology Department comprises 7 Consultants, 5 Staff Grades, 2 Assistants, 5 Clinical Assistants, 3 Specialist Registrars/ST3, 1 Specialist Trainee.

The Trust has an excellent Postgraduate Medical Centre which carries a full programme of events and offers access to a Medical Library.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
